Chapter 10 of the Kenyan Constitution 2010 encourages alternative forms of Dispute resolution including reconciliation, mediation, arbitration and traditional dispute resolution mechanisms.
The Kenya Copyright Board has lawyers who are highly skilled and trained in mediation in Copyright disputes. This service is offered free of charge. All ones needs to provide while seeking mediation is copies of both original and infringing work, supporting documentary evidence and consent from both parties to mediation.
